it pays to be staying in 43rd st
and to get up at 8 in the morning
the sun is warm, it was breezy, and Ike is just old news
times square is closed for us
to preview the broadway shows
and yes you will learn some rules
bring some food, water, chair and a tote bag
to hold all the freebies
and yes the cameras or video recorders if you care
others even have tripods
maybe to rival the official coverage
and have some for youtube
and yes for all the bloggers delight
and for all the broadway lovers' passion
